Membership
If you have never done archery before, the club welcomes you to check it out for an introductory sessions ($50) prior to becoming a club member. Equipment will be provided for this session. Please contact [email protected] for details.
Osprey Archery will be offering memberships in 2024 with a few changes from previous years:
- Members are responsible to register with Archery Nova Scotia themselves for 2024 Membership (by registering online with ANS the turnaround is much faster than the old method). Click Here to see the Archery Nova Scotia registration
As members are registering themselves with ANS, Osprey Archery fees have been changed accordingly.
Individual: $200.00 for 12 months
Family: $300.00 for 12 months
- Forward proof of your 2024 ANS Membership Card along with the completed 2024 Osprey Archery Membership Application to: [email protected] and eTransfer your payment to: [email protected] using the security code: "Osprey"
- All Osprey members must complete and return a 2024 Membership Application and show proof of the ANS Membership card as well (even if you have a LifeTime Membership). The ANS Card shows you have liability coverage and the Osprey application provides key contact information for the club executive to help keep you informed of upcoming events.
Details About Fees
The facilities are available at any time to use by members in good standing, who are being mindful of others and the safety of all. There are no individual range fees charged for the use of the facility as these are now included in the membership fee.
Fees provide the club with finances for general building maintenance and management and upkeep of shared shooting equipment. The ANS membership provides every member with $5,000,000 of liability insurance when shooting, and includes membership with Archery Canada. Check out www.archeryns.ca for more information about their association. Families include any two or more members of the same family so long as the children are under 18 years of age.
Osprey Archery Club coaching/beginner lesson fee - this fee is per individual and details are available under the Events and Schedule tab. This fee provides the club with finances to show our appreciation to the coaches whose enthusiasm and knowledge about archery guides our youth towards championship titles and new archers towards increased skills.
Please see below for a copy of the General Membership and the Introduction to Archery Forms.
Forms and payments are accepted by eTransfer ([email protected]) or posted mail (Osprey Archery Club, 4093 Prospect Road, Shad Bay, Nova Scotia, B3T 2C1).
