It had been brought to our attention by a club member that people have been using Osprey Archery Range as a place to sight in their rifles for hunting season. Guns of any kind including air soft are not permitted at OSPREY. Although we are on private property, OSPREY has always been there the local community to use the walking trails which wonder through our ranges. Having people firing rifles on our archery range which is not approved for rifles is concerning and I fear for the safety of club members and locals. If you see something that doesn’t look right and you feel comfortable do not hesitate to say something, challenge for membership ID, notify us as soon as possible so we can take action. Or call the police immediately. Thankfully in the case nobody was injured which is our priority. But unfortunately we did sustain about $2000 worth of damage to our outdoor target butts and stands. I remind you we are only authorized for : Compound bows Recurve bows Longbow all with target or field points only. No broad heads.
Crossbows are not allowed at Osprey
*NO GUNS OF ANY KIND ARE PERMITTED
We take a lot of pride in our club and we hope that you as members will help us keep it inviting, fun and safe. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out.

Welcome to the Osprey Archery Club
Our club offers year round indoor and outdoor shooting
Please follow all posted signage and use the distancing markers on the shooting line. No more than 10 people may be on the field at one time, including both archers and non-archers (such as parents or guardians). Maintain social distance and sanitize hands before touching the target butts. Coaching and events are not yet allowed, and the clubhouse will remain closed for the time being.
The woodland field archery course is also open, with the same social distancing and hand sanitizing expectations as the target field.
2021 Nova Scotia Provincial Target Results
Sunday September 12th 2021 saw 4 archers participate in 2 head to head matches. We had a very close result in our Cadet Compound match up, and our Recurve match up saw a first time participant. Congratulations to all who were able to attend, and a special thank you to Judge Bruce for running a great event.
